NZCC 2013 Blog Challenge Day 30 – Thoughts:
Even though we weren’t part of Bridget and Sonya’s original blogging workshop, we were keen to be part of a local 30 day challenge and lucky enough that it was opened to the public (even if only a few of us actually did it!).
I started blogging in 2010, and have always just written whatever tickles my fancy. Initially it was challenging to write to specific topics, especially with some of the subjects – too hard even for the hosts ;), but by the end I was looking forward to seeing what was up for the day.
I’m stoked to have completed all 30 days, a big achievement with a lot of other things to juggle, and some of the topics came with very tight deadlines.
Thanks to Bridget and Sonya for a fun 30 days!

NZCC 2013 Blog Challenge Day 29 – Trading Places:
I’d swap places with Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta AKA Lady Gaga.
She’s a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, activist, businesswoman, fashion designer, actress, philanthropist, humanitarian, oh yeah, and then there’s the net worth of $150 million.
Lady Gaga is an artist through and through, she writes songs, plays instruments, wears meat, and more than anything is not afraid to be herself.

NZCC 2013 Blog Challenge Day 28 – Stress:
A big part of our job is relieving stress! Planning an event (especially a wedding!) is stressful and one call to us can take care of your music, sound system, and lighting. We program the music, set up on the day, and collect it all after the wedding – stress free!
If you’re looking to relieve more wedding stress, here are some tips:
– Remember to eat. It will be a busy day and it can be easy to forget simple things like food and drink for you!
– Plan and book as much as you can, as soon as you can. We already have bookings into 2014, and have had bookings two years out.
– Put at least as much energy into your relationship as your wedding. It’s easy to be excited about the big day, but it’s actually about all of the days after that 🙂

NZCC 2013 Blog Challenge Day 23 – Describe Your Perfect Day
Being part of someone’s perfect day is what we do 🙂 Our jukeboxes have seen all kinds of perfect days – from weddings and birthdays to surprise parties and work dos. And because jukeboxes never rest, your party can rock on well into the next day!
We’ve collected jukeboxes that are still pumping 24 hours after we dropped them off – and Taranaki people know how to party! We’ve seen it all: beer can walls, 44 gallon drums filled with empty wine bottles, even a bride and groom missing their flight because they were still celebrating.
So, if you want non-stop music for your perfect day, a jukebox is the only way to go.
